Our family of five had an amazing time exploring Rothenburg. We loved walking along the city walls, taking in the beautiful views, and the charming streets filled with holiday lights. The breakfast was a bright spot, offering a delightful selection that fueled our adventures.
My kids wished for more pillow options. the current ones were too flat.

Cozy vibes and friendly faces
Had such a lovely stay! The room was massive, way more space than we expected. Mr Otto made us feel so welcome, always stopping by for a chat. The breakfast was delicious, especially the eggs cooked just the way I like. Wish there was an elevator. hauling bags up the stairs was a bit of a workout!

This was an optimal selection for a transient visit in Rothenburg ob der Tauber with value for price. The balcony overlooking the river valley was a nice touch for relaxing after a day of exploring. Be mindful of the limited parking options nearby.

The building's design integrated with the town walls created a unique ambiance that felt both historical and welcoming. The expansive rooms provided effortless comfort, particularly the superb armchairs that made relaxation easy at the end of the day. The breakfast offered a stunning view of the valley, making each morning a delightful experience.
Some organization at breakfast could enhance the experience for guests.

charming hotel with breathtaking views and easy walks
I loved my stay here, as it felt like I was a guest in someone's private home and I could easily walk everywhere in the historic section of town, including the stunning Franciscan Abbey just a few steps away and enjoying a glass of wine on my terrace while overlooking the castle garden was a delightful surprise that made my evenings unforgettable.

We stayed in a Double Room, and it was cozy and clean, fitting the charm of the area beautifully. The room had a lovely view of the surrounding gardens, and the four-poster bed added a nice touch. It felt spacious enough for us, and we appreciated the comfortable sitting area. The decor was a bit antique but really suited the historic vibe of the hotel. Noise from outside was minimal, so we slept well. Just a heads-up, there's no elevator, so pack light!

Beautiful terrace availability.
The absence of an elevator was quite inconvenient, especially with our large bags. We struggled to carry them up the stairs, which made check-in and check-out a hassle. The mattress was also quite flimsy, leading to an uncomfortable night's sleep. I had expected a more restful stay given the historical charm, but these factors really detracted from the experience.
